Welcome to Highlander Day —Your À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Journey Starts Here!

Come to Highlander Day and kick off your New Student Orientation (NSO) at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ! You'll learn about campus resources, meet other students, and get ready for success. Sessions run in the morning or afternoon.

What Will Happen

• Check-In (45 min): Meet À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ leaders, visit resource tables from different departments, and pick up helpful information.
• Opening Session (45 min): Hear short talks about Belonging and Campus Safety. Then ask questions during a Student Q&A Panel with current À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ students.
• Academic Pathways Session (1 hr): Join a small group based on your Academic Pathway. You’ll talk about what to expect and tour buildings related to your major. Parents and guardians can attend a separate session in the theater to learn how to support their students.
• Closing Breakout Sessions (1 hr): Pick one activity
  • • Campus Tour —Walk the campus and learn where everything is.
    • SLC Mixer & Student Success —Meet new friends at the Student Life Center and get tips from  Success Coaches.
    • Makerspace & Academic Tools —Try out the  Makerspace and explore study tools in the  Learning Commons.
