À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ to Host First Homeschool Resource Fair May 28

May 19, 2026

As homeschooling continues to grow across Central Texas, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ (À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ) will host its first Homeschool Resource Fair on Thursday, May 28, from 9–11 a.m. at the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Conference Center.

The free event is designed to connect homeschool families with educational opportunities, resources, and support services available throughout the community. More than 80 families have already registered to attend.

The Homeschool Resource Fair reflects À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s commitment to supporting the region’s growing homeschool community by helping families explore academic pathways, enrichment opportunities, workforce training, and student support resources.

“As a homeschool student, I found the transition to À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ easier than I expected because of the support system here,” said Rachel Martin, a recent À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ 4.0 honor graduate and homeschool graduate. “From success coaching and professor office hours to student organizations and classmates, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ really lives up to the community part of its name. It helped me grow academically while also finding connections and opportunities outside the classroom.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ programs and community organizations offering information related to academic programs, tutoring services, co-ops and classes, extracurricular opportunities, career training, and resources designed to support homeschool students of all ages.

Participating organizations and vendors currently include local homeschool support groups, enrichment providers, educational services, extracurricular organizations, and community partners from across Central Texas. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ departments scheduled to attend include Community Health, Corporate Training, Kids College, the Child Development Center, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Business Programs, and the Homesteading Committee, along with several additional campus programs and outside organizations.

À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ departments and community partners will host informational tables during the event, with some offering optional hands-on activities for children.

The Homeschool Resource Fair is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to register in advance at mccandyou.com or call 254-299-8888 for more information.
