Program Overview

Dental Assistant Program

The Dental Assistant Program at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ gives you the skills and hands-on training you need to start working in a dental office.

You'll learn in the classroom, practice in a lab, and get real experience working with patients. You'll be trained in areas like assisting the dentist chairside, keeping things clean and safe, taking X-rays, using dental materials, and talking with patients.

When you finish, you can take the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners licensing exams. You'll be ready to work in a general or specialty dental office. Most dental assistants earn between $18 and $25 per hour.
