Health Professions Simulation

À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's Health Professions Simulation (HPS) building is a dedicated environment for health care students and professionals to learn competencies that enhance quality patient safety through the use of simulation-based technology. This environment provides the learner opportunities to participate in clinical experiences in a safe, non-threatening and structured environment.

The HPS building is the centerpiece of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's Health Professions Complex, a cluster of new and existing buildings created to expand in-depth healthcare training. The 15,600-square-foot simulation building opened to students in January 2012.

The simulation laboratory is available to groups outside of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ to use for simulated learning. For more information, please contact Glynnis Gaines at ggaines@mclennan.edu
